I guess you place an event ( the monster ), induce a fight, let the event “disappear” and activate a switch to 1 or whatever and set a page at the guy that will give you gold when switch is at 1 or something. didnt test it, but I think this is the basic scheme going on.

GRRR. This is so frustrating. I transport my player from one map to another, but then my player can’t move…and he’s stuck on the spot where the event to transport is. So I have to close playtest to restart it, and it does it again. How can I stop this?
if u want it just go anywhere click random. Now,on custom click move route. It brings u to the move event page. just input how u want ur guy to walk and check mark ignore if cant move and uncheck repeat movement(more advanced). There you go!
So u want to make ur event char walk right? Well, what you do is go to the event section. So just go to event layer and double click. Then, go to autonomous movement. On the type, put it to custom for ur own walking pattern.
I havent worked in RPG maker in 2 years so this can be a bit off. IIRC thare is event “translucent” or “Color” whare you can make event flash, gain in some color or lose in other. Keep colors as the are but change translucent to zero and set in how much time this process would take (0 means instantly)
Just search for it and experiment. back in the days where I started thare were no tutorials ppl just experimented ;P

Yes. If your map is bigger than the minimum 20 by 15, it will scroll with you.

Maybe u have an autostart-event in the second map, that won’t stop…
Or the terrain of the second map isn’t set to walkable

yep!
Go to your ‘Materials’ section, pick the type of sprite your putting, select import, and find the sprite you want to use.
