need java text based game help?

Pu? some1 please tell that accumulation (eg Hashmap, program) can use to give "points" of life, to my player and enemies. points of damage when life changes and get the support when the player uses the potion. Please someone help! I just need the exact class of accumulation that I can use. should be able to "kill" / remove the object of the enemy and the player when their "life"? gone. I searched everywhere, I get an answer chamfer straight, help plaese. even better if I could make the key as the enemy 'name if value and its health. then I could just put up the methods for the attacks. ? that possible? pu? some1 please help with how to write Hashmap? I checked everywhere but I still do not get. could some1 mi d? sample code-based health enemy attack (just as the "response; Lost" has given below). . please!
