How come playstation 3 doesn’t have that many turned based RPG games like the PS2 did?
Russell Mania asked:
The PS2 has tons of RPG games. They had games like: Grandia II, Grandia II, Final Fantasy X, Engraving in England, pi? very many. I just don 't see why? the PS3 don 't have all the RPG games out now, what? the main reason I don 't have one.

It takes a while for them to develop (especially since they tend to originate in Japan and need translating + are heavy in CGI), but there’s tonnes in the pipeline;
Final fantasy XIII and versus, White knight chronicle, Eternal sonata, Star ocean 4, are just some that should be coming within the next year
RPGs actually take a lot of time to develop. In the first year of the PS2’s life there weren’t that many RPG’s either. White Knight Cronicles, Disgaea 3, Valkyrie of the Battlefield, Final Fantasy XIII, and Final Fantasy Versus XIII are all coming out exclusively to the PS3. And there’s also Last Remnant and Eternal Sonata which are are on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
There are probably a few more in development which might be announced at the Game Developers Conference that starts next week and at E3 this summer.
EDIT Also Enchanted Arms is out right now.
RPGs take a while to make. Within the first year of PS2 there was hardly any. Just wait. These games aren’t made in a day.
